My main takeaway was how Mr. Snyder identified a niche and capitalized off of it. It was incredible to read how he found a section that was severely lacking in a lot of aspects and knew that he had the skillset to fill those gaps. I know that is the first step to truly kickstarting your career and also is the best way to be successful in the future.

I know for me, at least, I want to try to find something like that in a field that is interesting to me. Healthcare is something that I never really had a calling for. So, with that being said, it got me thinking about a lot of different fields that 1. it has a serious gap and 2. is something that I enjoy & that I also have the skillsets for so that I can bridge those gaps. I would love to know exactly how he found his niche? What started him on his professional journey and how did it click for him?

As I am in this time of kind-of knowing what I want to do and not sure where I want to go with it, it is hard for me to stay focused on one niche. I think once I find my niche I will be able to be a little more driven and hopefully more successful.

Being that he went into a niche that was severely lacking the skills he had, did he ever have imposture syndrome? At least to me, going into a field that has little work to go off of, I feel like it would be hard to justify that you are the right person for the job.

Finally, the last idea for me is one to do with finding the right clients. If a niche has a deficit of something that I could provide, how can you sell yourself to them? I know a lot of different people that need something I can provide but don’t think they need it or don’t think its worth it. How can I change their mind?
